XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of NIS

The team of the Sustainable Rural Development Fund and the Sustainable Development Education Fund attended the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of NIS: "Teach, educate, love: the Year of children in Kazakhstan".


The event discussed research on the quality of education, the creation of a safe and comfortable educational environment for children, leading Kazakhstani and international education experts spoke. The conference hosted participants from almost 20 countries of the world.
Ksenia Verba, Director of the Sustainable Rural Development Fund, spoke at the second plenary session, introducing the general sponsor of the event AITAS and told about the holding.

We see serving the people of Kazakhstan as our mission, and the sustainable development of the country through the development of rural areas as our mission. That is why we have organized funds that act as a platform for synergy, for collaboration of the best solutions in rural areas, including in educational programs.
The holding has repeatedly supported educational events, we also sponsor the EdCrunch conference and this year supported the NIS conference as a project of our general partners in the "Rural School powered by NIS" program, — said Ksenia Verba.
Director of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, Daniyar Toktarbayev, spoke about the partnership program "Rural School powered by NIS" of FURO and Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, launched in 2019.

"The main objective of our project is to provide children with access to education in rural areas at the level of the best urban schools. With the Foundation's program, school teachers had the opportunity to improve their qualifications, adopt advanced pedagogy technologies from the best coaches in the country and undergo an internship at NIS schools," Daniyar Toktarbayev said.
One of the most popular sections of the Conference were special sections aimed at involving teachers and students in the educational environment through new media, interactive panels and modern teaching methods.
The conference was also attended by principals and teachers from 22 participating schools of the project "Rural School powered by NIS". The Chairman of the Board of AEO NIS Kulyash Shamshidinova presented 17 commemorative certificates "Powered by NIS" to the principals of schools participating in the project.
