Tourist Information Center (TIC) has been launched in Katon-Karagai region. The center began its work on Friday, May 5, in the village of Ulken Naryn of the East Kazakhstan region.
The new facility has co-working area for tourists, souvenir shop, museum and national park exhibits, as well as an investment center.
Sustainable Rural Development Fund took part in the development of the project, and also allocated three million tenge for its construction.
The opening ceremony was attended by local tour operators, owners of guest houses and sanatoriums, the director of the Katon-Karagay National Park and the head of the Berel Museum-Reserve. After the presentation, the guests took part in a round table on the effective use of the TIC.
