Today, Director of the Center for Regional Research, Fatima Gerfanova has taken part in the first meeting of the Parliamentary Commission on Monitoring the Implementation of National Goals and Objectives in the field of Sustainable Development of our Country. The event has been held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Commission - Chairman of the Senate Maulen Ashimbayev, Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov, Minister of Ecology Zulfiya Suleimenova and members of Parliament also have participated in the meeting.
Fatima Gerfanova has raised the issue of developing the National Sustainable Development Strategy. The Strategy that should change depending on alternations in the internal and external environment.
It should be noted that the Sustainable Rural Development Fund already has proven experience in developing and implementing strategies for sustainable development of districts, which have shown results over three years of work.
