The Sustainable Trends Kazakhstan - 2024 forum has been held on June 04. During the Forum, current global trends, local cases, current problems and challenges facing the country as part of its progress towards decarbonization have been discussed.
The Forum participants received comprehensive information from experts about Kazakhstan’s ESG development path. One of the speakers at the forum at the panel session “Sustainable Cities and Social Responsibility in Regions” was Daniyar Nurpeissov, the Head of the Sustainable Rural Development Fund. In his speech, he explained the main purpose of the Fund and talked about the work done.

“In 2022, we participated in the development of the Rural Development Concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2027. The SRDF experience was included in the Concept plan. In 2023, we prepared a methodology for developing a strategy for sustainable development of districts. Since July last year, we have been holding discussions and events on the implementation of this strategy with Akimats of East Kazakhstan and Akmola regions,” Daniyar Nurpeissov, the Head of the Fund said
