Neurobiology and the capabilities of technology, childrearing and teamwork

350 international speakers from 25 countries will hold 120 expert sessions, panel discussions and master classes in Kazakhstan for more than 5,000 viewers.

In today's context, education is an integral component of the development of the new economics and society, and becomes the framework for the human capital growth. Improving the quality of education, its accessibility and conditions means a contribution not only to schools, but also to the economy of the whole country.

Ksenia Verba, a Head of the Sustainable Rural Development Fund, has noted that the issue of availability of education shall also give consideration to the territorial affiliation of a child: “When we talk about the advanced teaching methods, we should understand that the new realities already allow us creating a comfortable and high-quality environment for both the urban student and a student from the village. It does not take much - a sincere desire and striving of adults to help the child. This is how we can close the gap between urban and rural education, and show the rural children that we believe in their future and ready to help them develop”.

As a result of the EdCrunch Reload 2022 conference, we have compiled five trends being the thing of the future of global education.

Inquiry-based learning
As Isai Hernandez Aguilar has noted in his speech, pedagogical designer and international learning specialist, contemporary educational processes need to be modernized. The school children and students should be able not only to study the materials, but also to understand the meaning of their actions: for what purpose and where it will be possible to apply knowledge in the future. Just then the students will be motivated not just to pass the program, but also to investigate the opportunities that come with learning on their own.

Artificial Intelligence in education
The implementation of AI technology in the educational environment has undeniable benefits for both students and teachers. The artificial Intelligence (AI) can calculate an individual learning path, suggest the suitable material of appropriate complexity and check the performance of the tasks. AI also makes education accessible to students with limited health capacities or those studying in the regions. The implementation of digital technology into the educational process will allow reducing the current gap between urban and rural schools.
“The most important part of the educational process is its accessibility, equally for both urban and rural students. Education accessible to all allows children to grow up on an equal footing and maximize their potential. For this purpose, the AITAS Holding implements the “Village school” educational program, which has successfully proved itself in five schools in three districts of Kazakhstan”, — has noted Serik Tolukpayev, a founder of AITAS Holding.

Project-based learning
The opportunities of project-based learning for the students are primarily characterized by expanding the knowledge base and developing skills through the project work. This approach makes it possible to make a projection to solve problems they may encounter in reality. As noted by Ken Shelton, an Apple Distinguished Educator, certified innovator of Google and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, to be most successful in the project-based learning, it is most helpful for students to look for connections between problem solving and the everyday things that happen in life. The acquired interest increases involvement and forces a deeper exploration of processes, thereby improving learning skills.

HyFlex digital tools
The HyFlex combined delivery mode represents a flexible pedagogical approach combining the in-person and online learning. Its use allows students creating their own mode. The implementation of HyFlex opens up the boundless opportunities for organizing training and creating the brand new educational programs and courses. The tandem of physical and digital environment allows students to enjoy all the benefits of learning in a comfortable mode.

Peer-to-peer education
With good reason it can be called the most democratic option for learning. Peer-to-peer or the mutual learning assumes the active role of all participants in the learning process by sharing knowledge, experience, and opinions with each other. The important features of P2P-education are the mandatory principle of equality and the use of the potential of each of its participants.
