On September 15, Astana will host celebrations in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh writer and playwright, Oralkhan Bokei.
The book exhibition will start at the National Academic Library at 15:00, as part of the week of creativity of Oralkhan Bokei.
At 15:30, the grand opening of the Conference dedicated to the life and work of the writer will take place in the Constitution Hall of the National Academic Library. Aida Balayeva, the Minister of Culture and Information, Sauytbek Abrakhmanov, the moderator of the event and Professor, will address the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech.

Festive events in honor of the anniversary of Oralkhan Bokei has started in Katon-Karagai district of East Kazakhstan region. The celebration was initiated by the Sustainable Rural Development Fund with the support of businessmen of Katon-Karagai district. The ceremonial events dedicated to the writer’s anniversary will last on September 28-30 in Almaty.
