On May 25, Businessmen of Akmola region and representatives of the Akimat gathered for a facilitation session organized by the Sustainable Rural Development Fund at the Mind site in KazGUU in Astana. The participants of the event divided into groups to discuss current issues, exchange opinions and suggestions on topics:
1) Building the architecture of a meat cluster in Bulandyndistrict of Akmola region;
2) Development of agrotourism in Akmola region;
3) The use of ESG approaches in the development of engineering and social infrastructure of supporting villages and cities.
“Aitas Holding works according to ESG standards and we have always been the ones who do this work first. But now we want to emphasize the development strategy, now we want to have a strategy for the development of the district, which could be used by Akimat and entrepreneurs of the district during planning,” Daniyar Nurpeissov, the Executive Director of SRDF, said.
At the meeting, representatives of the Akimat of Akmola region and the Executive Director of SRDF discussed issues of cluster policy and the development of the agro-industrial complex of Bulandyn district. In addition, Daniyar Nurpeissov shared the upcoming tasks, and talked about the opportunities that will become available to entrepreneurs of the district.
