The Bulandy District Sustainable Development Fund and deputies of the district Maslikhat held a meeting, the main topic of which was the infrastructural development of the district.
At the invitation of the Fund, representatives of the Association of Urbanists of Kazakhstan Q88 came to Makinsk. The Association submitted the educational program “Transformation of Cities and Grounds of Integrated Development of Territories”, and presented the Vision Zero program for local executive bodies aimed at improving road safety and reducing deaths in road accidents.

“We are grateful to the Fund for its active involvement and successful joint work for the benefit of residents of the city. You all know that residents of the city have repeatedly complained about the quality of roads along S. Seifullin Street. Just a month ago we applied to the Fund, the Fund’s team developed design and estimate documentation as soon as possible, yesterday we defended the project in the regional Maslikhat in the amount of KZT147 million and next year the work on these 2.5 km will be fully completed,” Ardak Smailov, Deputy Akim of the district said.
